Radome Material The radome is a mat epoxy fiberglass that exhibits superior environmental capabilities.

RF Characteristics The DPV-74A is designed for high power UHF applications and is a vertically oriented dipole that is fed through the center of the lower half of the dipole. All parts of the antenna are at DC ground potential. The fiberglass radome provides both mechanical stability and environmental protection. The radome is capable of being pressurized through the coaxial interface to 10 PSI under all environmental conditions.
