The US military is constantly searching, designing, and implementing new communications sources that will advance the combat power of individual infantrymen on the battlefield. Often a hindrance of a battlefield deployment has been the loss of line of site. Military-Mesh Radios (MMR) help to resolve issues previously encountered through earlier versions of equipment. Antenna Products Corporation’s MMR circumvents many of these obstacles through its Intelligent Routing Software (IRS) and size to place drop nodes in urban buildings and congested locations to enhance and expand the wireless network.
MMRs utilizing its IRS, has virtually no single point of failure once the network starts expanding. Current wireless networks can be shut down by removing an access point. The MMR diversifies its routing system each time a new MMR is added to the network because the IRS routes traffic through a dynamic landscape of ever-changing set of peers to a networked device or the internet. |
