RTR Towers: Remote Transmitter/Receiver Facilities (RTR) towers are available in 20 to100 foot heights for the installation of UHF and VHF antennas.
Self-supported antenna towers come in 10 and 20 foot bolted sections and vary in height from 20 to 70 feet.
Guyed antenna tower versions are available in 70, 80, 90 and 100 foot heights. The self-supported and guyed towers are offered as knock-down or assembled sections and can be assembled at our factory or shipped unassembled.
The Remote Transmitter/Receiver Facilities towers are designed to support up to eight antennas, either UHF or VHF, for ground to air communications at airports or remote air traffic control sites. The towers are designed to the requirements of TIA/EIA-222-F, 105 MPH wind load.
The tower sections of Steel RTR Towers are supplied in 20 foot lengths with flanged joints to allow easy and rapid assembly. Each section has horizontal and diagonal braces welded in place. The braces are bolted in on larger face towers in order to save on shipping volume. Welded steel round leg towers are also available in 20 foot lengths and face widths of 24, 30, 36 and 72 inches.
Available options include obstruction marking orange and white paint, lighting kit, lightning kit, grounding kit and rigid safety climbing rail.
Antenna Products will also design towers to comply with your specific requirements.
