MPA-1 |
|
Applications: The MPA-1 is a receive antenna consisting of two arrayed HF monopole antennas that can be configured for either broadside or end-fire radiation in the 2 to 30 MHz frequency range. Features: Each element of the MPA-1 consists of a nylon coated flexible cable radiating element, matching unit and termination unit. The radiating element is suspended within a fiberglass housing. The matching unit and termination are contained in an aluminum base section enclosure. A hybrid unit feeds the monopole elements. The hybrid feed location determines the broadside/end-fire radiation pattern. |
